Having freshly closed this month’s meeting of our Board of Directors, we have decided on a new plan to move forward with this year.
It has been frustrating having to cancel events week to week to say the least. The situation changes almost daily. So we have decided to shut down all events for the summer and start our full schedule of events in September with our Route 66 Tour, starting on the 11th and ending at 2nd Sunday Breakfast in Winslow on the 13th.
All dining events will be subject to the guidelines and rules set in place by the restaurant. We will not make reservations in advance and the restaurants will seat us how they see fit. Be prepared to sit in small groups and possibly not getting seated right away. Hopefully as time wears on, things will get back closer to being normal.
Because of the shortened ride schedule, we will not be giving out awards at the end of the year for the 2020 GO AZ Motorcycles Ride Series. We will start that back up in 2021.
As a result of a shortened schedule and a long time of inactivity, the board of directors has decided to extend everyone’s current membership status for 6 months.
We would like you to know that we do not take the current situation lightly. The safety and mental wellbeing of our members and families are of upmost importance along with being a good citizen for the entities and businesses that we frequent and deal with regularly.
This has been a difficult time for everyone and we hope to be an outlet of enjoyment for our members very soon!
