Alien Encounters Grand Tour Recap

Planning for the Alien Encounters tour starts about a year ago when California AZRATPacker, Darlene Fong sent me a couple of interesting links she found while looking up alien themed places to visit.  The first was Coyote’s Flying Saucer Repair in Ocotillo, CA and the second was the Integretron in Landers.  Loving the two suggestions for stopping points on a future ride, I started to formulate a route to tie the two together.  I then added a trip through Death Valley and El Chino Loco suggested the Atomic Inn in Beatty, NV as a stop for the night.  Behold, the Alien Encounters Grand Tour was born!

BMW Nav VI Not Being Recognized By Laptop

I normally do my Basecamp plotting and mapping on my home desktop then transfer to my device. However, I was planning on going on a trip and was taking my laptop so I could update my GPS if my plans or route changes.

I performed a backup of Basecamp on my desktop and had the backup file placed on an available cloud drive. In my case that was OneDrive.  I then installed Basecamp on my laptop and performed a restore from the file on my OneDrive. Now when I make a change on my laptop or desktop, I run the backup to OneDrive and do a restore on the other. This allows me to keep my laptop and desktop in sync.
