GO AZ Motorcycles, Peoria, AZ – December 9, 2017
by El Presidente
The ride in to the start point of our last ride this year started to be a bit chilly at 48 degrees F. I actually contemplating taking the Triumph instead of the Aprilia because of hookups to electric gear. By the time I arrived at GO AZ Motorcycles Peoria for the start of the ride
it had warmed up considerably. We had an excellent turnout! The final count was 41 riders and passengers! Our original plan was to have lunch at the Diner On Main in Bagdad, but since the group was so large, we added the Copper Country Bar & Grill as an alternate. We broke the riders up into three groups, each leaving about 15 minutes apart. AK led the first group out while I led the second, and DJ taking the third with NJSteve sweeping. The weather turned out to be great! Not too cool, not too hot, a perfect combination! The Diner On Main was able to seat the first two groups while the third headed directly to Copper Country. After lunch, everyone scattered to different parts of the valley while enjoying perfect weather for the ride home!
