This month’s meeting & dinner was held in the West Valley for a change giving me a welcomed short drive home. I did say drive! Kudos to Jerry Fuentes for being the only member to ride his bike to dinner! As you can imagine, it was a cold (for us in Arizona) evening dipping into the high 40’s.
State 48 is a fairly new restaurant/brewery that is set to open a few locations in the coming months in Phoenix and in Scottsdale where the old Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale building used to be. Though I didn’t sample any of the beer, something to do with being a lightweight these days and having to drive home, the food was fairly decent and the wait staff friendly! After a 15 minute wait for a table, our group was put into a private room, very nice! I’m sure at some point, we’ll schedule a dinner at their Scottsdale location when they’re open!
