The breakfast at Nichols West, an out of the way restaurant nestled on AZ SR71, a left turn from SR89 before you get to Yarnell Hill serves up excellent breakfast with a nice atmosphere!  Along with the usual suspects, we were joined by Gonzo, Chairman of the SCMA along with a few people we don’t get to see very often!  Congrats to George on his new (to him) 2012 Dyna Wide Glide!  While checking out George’s new bike, I took a quick look around the parking lot and what an eclectic mix of motorcycles!  Everything ranging from radical sport bikes, to full on tourers, adventure bikes and a Harley cruiser.

After breakfast and conversation, we all headed out!  Some went home to the Phoenix Valley, some took advantage of the weather and headed up Yarnell Hill for some photography and drone flying or just for a quick up and down.  Phillip and his wife Mei Lee joined me for the Skull Valley Loop, riding it clockwise up through Skull Valley and back down through the White Spars.  Though a little windy, the lack of traffic and near perfect temperature made up for it.  Thanks to everyone that came out and see you at dinner on the 29th!
