GO AZ Motorcycles, Scottsdale, AZ – February 17, 2018

Our first ride of the year is in the books! 33 riders and passengers set off from GO AZ Motorcycles in Scottsdale down the 101 and east on US 60. We encountered a little bit of slow going out past Apache Junction because of the Renaissance Festival. Once we passed the turkey leg eaters,
we had a clear run to Superior where we headed south toward Winkelman through Kearney on SR 177. After a brief gas stop at the Shell station in Winkelman, we proceeded south to Oracle where we stopped for a wonderful lunch at the Oracle Patio Café. After lunch, a group of us headed down to tour the Biosphere 2 while others made their way back to the Phoenix valley. All in all, an easy and entertaining ride with a good lunch, an interesting Arizona attraction and most of an excellent group of AZRATPackers! Thanks to those that came out for a fun and safe day!
