While not the perfect dining setting, Octane Raceway was a fun dinner nevertheless! The menu is fairly simple, but no one really comes here for the food anyway! We had a decent sized group show up for dinner and we were able to catch up on past rides and what’s coming up on the schedule.
After dinner, about four of us hung around and did some go-kart racing. Fastest over a single lap was Dagame, followed by Luis, El Presidente and John. The karts are fast, necessitating good brake control going into the corners and smart throttle application on exit. I personally get tired about 3/4 in to the 14 lap races. This was so much fun that Octane Raceway may make it in to the dinner schedule every year!
