December 2nd Sunday Breakfast Recap

Matt’s Big Breakfast Biltmore – Phoenix, AZ – December 9, 2018

by El Presidente

This morning was extra chilly here in far out west Buckeye.  At 45 degrees, I felt there was no reason to be cold, so I opted for the warm confines of my car.  Plus I hadn’t been on a motorcycle since the last breakfast so there was going to need to be a bunch of extra prep this morning like getting the heated vest together and airing up the tires of either the Honda or the Harley.  The Ford was a good choice this morning!

November General Membership Meeting & Dinner Recap

Lo Lo’s Chicken & Waffles, Gilbert, AZ – November 29, 2018

by El Presidente

Lo Lo’s Chicken & Waffles is one of my perennial favorites, but this time we tried out their Gilbert location instead of the usual one in Scottsdale that we go to.  Luckily, when our group started arriving, there was plenty of room.  Our group grew and grew along with the amount of regular patrons sitting down for dinner.

It’s 7am on a gorgeous Friday morning and I am heading to GO AZ Motorcycles in Peoria AZ to meet up with the AZRATPack to ride the annual Route 66 motorcycle tour, this year called the 6’s Wild Grand Tour. The morning air is crisp and I am eager to get this bike on the road.

Victor Castañeda, President of the AZRATPack this year created a ride to take advantage of the many Route 66 historical and memorable routes in Arizona. The second day would take riders through the petrified forest and onward to ShipRock, New Mexico, Four Corners and eventually stopping in Chinle, AZ, Canyon de Chelley.

7th Annual GO AZ Motorcycles Sedona Ride Recap

GO AZ Motorcycles, Peoria, AZ – August 18, 2018

by El Presidente

Our 7th Annual GO AZ Motorcycles Sedona Ride saw 39 riders leave the GO AZ Peoria dealership at around 8:30 AM in 4 groups of roughly ten.  The weather for the most part cooperated with us save for a few sprinkles on the way home.  Heat and humidity were the worst parts of the weather we had to deal with, but only on the way home.
