Our last ride of the year was a return to some of the roots from when we were a Triumph Owners Club. Every year, we would take our “British” bikes (some were built in Indonesia…) over London Bridge in Lake Havasu. Though we switched our focus over the years to being more about riding than what brand of motorcycle you own, we thought it would be fun to visit Lake Havasu and the curiosity of London Bridge.
I am proud to announce the AZRATPack received the AMA’s 2019 Recreational Road Riding Organizer of the Year award last night at the AMA’s Champions Banquet last night in Columbus, Ohio. Board members, Rodney “El Chino Loco” Chew and Stephen Stoops were there representing the club to receive this prestigious award in person.

I am proud to announce we are among three nominees for this year’s AMA Recreational Road Riding Organizer of the Year award! The special award winners will be announced at the 2019 AMA Championship Banquet on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Hilton Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. The event is part of the 2019 AMA Legends & Champions Weekend, Dec. 6-7. Among those recognized at the banquet are top clubs and promoters in competition and recreational riding categories.
This month’s breakfast location was recommended by Melinda. It’s 0nly steps away from where she works though she had the day off! Goody’s Cafe in Mesa set us up in a separate room for our large group!

This month’s dinner location was at the Mellow Mushroom in Mesa on Stapley and US60 and came at the suggestion of one our members. I left work early on Halloween in hopes of getting to the restaurant early to get things set up for us since they didn’t take reservations.

This month’s breakfast was in a scenic neighborhood in the Estrella Mountains in Goodyear at the Lakeside Grill. Nestled along the shore of the community lake, the Lakeside Grill was very accommodating to our fairly large group, but provided friendly quality service and great food!
