While final details are still being worked out, we’d like to announce lodging for the first overnighter of the year.
I was online and saw a post by someone that was asking if anyone had experience with the WunderLinq device on a BMW. I had never heard of so went to check it out. Here is some info from the website.
Introducing the WunderLINQ
The WunderLINQ is a combination of Plug-and-Play hardware that snaps into your existing BMW Motorcycle Navigation Prep and a companion app for your Android or iOS phone or tablet. Together they allow you to control your mobile device and other connected devices like GoPros from your handlebar wheel. If your motorcycle also has the On Board Computer Pro option the WunderLINQ can also receive and decode performance and fault data.
Continue reading “Introducing the WunderLINQ”Though this has been covered previously, I thought it would be a good time to re-iterate on how we’re moving forward with other aspects of our club in 2021 such as our social events (breakfasts and dinners) and membership contributions.
Continue reading “Moving Forward With Everything Else In 2021”The AZRATPack Board of Directors is proud to announce out 2021 Ride Schedule. We feel that this year’s schedule is responsible and achievable barring any worsening of the current health situation. Of course all is subject to change with enough time to allow for modifications in plans.
You will notice that this is a full schedule of six rides with a late start to the year and with less time between rides. As long as we are able to run the full schedule, our intention is to hold the GO AZ Motorcycles Ride Series and give out awards at our end of year banquet that hopefully will be held in December.
In 2023, the club will turn 20 years old! Though this seems far off into the future, we hope to plan something special which takes a lot of time to plan!
Continue reading “20th Anniversary Plans!”We had a lot to talk about at last night’s meeting of the AZRATPack’s Board of Directors. The conditions in which we cancelled the Rt 66 Tour along with most of our schedule this year have not changed. Face coverings, group size limitations and social distancing regulations/ordinances are still in place.
Due to the difficulty of holding events in the spirit in which we feel represents our club, fun, tight knit, entertaining and safe, we feel it is best to cancel the remaining scheduled events for the year. The affected events are the Alien Abduction Grand Tour scheduled for October and the Ajo Ride scheduled for November.
On a more positive and optimistic note, we have come up with a flexible plan for 2021.
Continue reading “2020: The Soon To Be Forgotten Year”It is with great regret that I must announce that this year’s Route 66 Tour is cancelled. After meeting with our Board of Directors on Monday, we decided that conditions haven’t changed so that we could conduct a fun and entertaining event.
Though statistically, things seem to be trending in the right direction, local governments and establishments have not loosened up social gathering regulations/guidelines. Since our events just about always draws 20+ participants, we do not feel we are able conduct an event that is in the spirit of how we do things.
Continue reading “Route 66 Tour Canceled”Having freshly closed this month’s meeting of our Board of Directors, we have decided on a new plan to move forward with this year.
Continue reading “2020: The New Plan”Due to current conditions, we will unfortunately have to cancel this month’s 2nd Sunday Breakfast at El Ranchero in Wickenburg.
Continue reading “June 2nd Sunday Breakfast Cancelled”Due to the stay at home order issued by Governor Ducy, we’ve cancelled all April events. This includes 2nd Sunday Breakfast, Alien Abduction Meet & Greet and the Alien Abduction Tour. You can view the Governor’s announcement here.
