Continue reading “December 2nd Sunday Breakfast Recap”Our last ride of the year was a return to some of the roots from when we were a Triumph Owners Club. Every year, we would take our “British” bikes (some were built in Indonesia…) over London Bridge in Lake Havasu. Though we switched our focus over the years to being more about riding than what brand of motorcycle you own, we thought it would be fun to visit Lake Havasu and the curiosity of London Bridge.
This month’s breakfast location was recommended by Melinda. It’s 0nly steps away from where she works though she had the day off! Goody’s Cafe in Mesa set us up in a separate room for our large group!

Nestled along the shore of the community lake, the Lakeside Grill was very accommodating to our fairly large group, but provided friendly quality service and great food!
Continue reading “October 2nd Sunday Breakfast Recap”This year, we took a more traditional route on our Route 66 Tour, going from Scottsdale to Winslow, then west to Williams and ending in Laughlin, NV. We did do a couple of things a little differently though.
Lupita’s Hot Dogs came highly recommended by a couple of co-workers of mine that are known to be “foodies”. I myself, am a connoisseur of a fine, gourmet hot dog. Though it’s not the typical faire or usual type of location that I pick for our club’s General Membership Meeting & Dinner, I figured that it would be a fun adventure. Plus, variety is the spice of life, no?

We had more than RSVP’ed forcing some to sit at any open table as this location is typically very busy. Sometimes we sit on the open patio but today was just warm enough to sit inside.
