It has been a tradition lately to have Cuban food for our April Club Dinner because of the proximity of my birthday. My favorite spot used to be Havana Café in Scottsdale, but since it closed, Cuban Foods has been the spot!
A few years ago, one of our members Mike Reina highly recommended Cuban Foods as an alternative to Havana Café. Now, for a few years, since they expanded, we’ve been holding our April dinners here. Cuban food is very different from the Mexican food that is prevalent here in the Phoenix area. It’s enjoyable to see our members try some new tastes that I’ve been enjoying my entire life! Along with the excellent food, we had a lot of fun telling stories and talking about our upcoming Alien Encounters Grand Tour. Rodney, Steve and I enjoyed an after dinner, impromptu shopping spree at Ross next door. After our impulse buys, we headed home. My dog was happy with the new bed I bought her! Enjoy the photos below!
