GO AZ Motorcycles Peoria
The 9th running of the GO AZ Motorcycles Sedona ride was a rare one! It was sunny, all day! This ride is usually filled with weather from monsoon rains, all out haboobs with high winds to bad hail storms!
After a brief rider’s meeting, roughly 20 of us set out towards US 60 via Lake Pleasant Parkway and Carefree Highway. In Wickenburg we then turned north on US93 and then on AZ SR89 up through Yarnell and Prescott. After a brief gas stop in Prescott Valley, we then headed through Jerome and on up to the red rocks of Sedona with a stop for lunch at the Mesa Grill located at the Sedona Airport. The ride up to the airport has such good scenery! While having lunch and conversations, we can watch the planes land and take off with the mountains in the background.
